My husband, Bruce, is a direct descendant of Mark Martin Franklin & Nancy Ann Stapleton of Butler Co. This is a photo of their youngest son, David Twiggs Franklin, his wife, Sabra Ann Hampton, and their children.& David & Sabra are Bruce's GGgrandparents.
The picture was taken about Dec 1891.& By that time, they had moved to Bienville Parish, LA, but I thought perhaps that someone researching this family who lived in Butler County for so many years would like to see it.
