(PEGGY) NANCY HARMAN. She was born Bet. 1765 - 1780 in Nazing or
Narzing, England, and died Bet. 1825 - 1840 in NC.
Notes for JOHN WILLIAM HEATH, SR.:
John William Heath,
was a gunsmith who came to America some time before the Revolutionary War. It is supposed that Maj. John Heath is the
same John William Heath who was promoted to Lieutenant in 1778. (All though
this early for someone born C.1761.)
Lt. John Heath may or may not be the same Maj. John Heath who made a
rifle, which was passed down through the family for several generations.
Rev. John H. Heath
wrote: "This rifle was made 1778 - 1780, a flint and steel lock, by Major
John Heath, and it saw service in the Revolutionary War.

Miles married Jennet
Jane Carroll, Sarah's sister. Another
sister, previously mentioned, Margaret, married Nathan Horn. The Carroll sisters were the daughters of
Willis and Margaret Carroll. Willis
died before the children were grown.
Apparently Jennet went to live with Nathan and Margaret Carroll
Horn. Jennet is even buried under the
Horn name at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church, Just north of Texasville,
Alabama.
Nathan and Margaret
Horn had several children who married into Price, Parmer, and Bass families in
Barbour County, Alabama.
Jennet had eight
Carroll siblings. She and Miles Heath
had eleven children. Each of her
children carry a given name identical to her Carroll siblings.
Catherine Elizabeth
"Kitsey" Carroll, married William Baxley. They had at least eight children. Kitsey and Bill are buried at Antioch as well.
henry Carroll, brother
of the Carroll sisters, was twice married and had seven children between the
two wives. He died as a CSA prisoner
and is buried at Camp Chase, OH Grave Mark No. 1505, Grave 20, Row 33.

Emmanuel Heath married
Sarah Carroll in the 1840's, they were born int e1820's. Emmanuel and Sarah had William Henry. William had a twin sister that died of
scalds received by a pot of hot coffee that was tipped over when a stick of
wood hit the pot.
Two other sons, Lemuel
and John L. John L. died of injuries
received in a cotton gin.
Emmanuel had a brother
Britt, they came from Georgia to Coff County Alabama, and then to Butler
County.

Emanuel Heath, born
1822 in Alabama, according to the census, married to Sarah Carroll, born 1821
in North Carolina. Emanuel and sarah
were married January 15, 1843 in Barbour County, Alabama. They had sons William and Lemuel. Sarah died prior to September 1850 in
Barbour County, Alabama. Emanuel was
living alone on September 24, 1850 when the US Census for Barbour County,
Alabama was taken. William, his five
year old son, was living with Sarah's sister, Margaret Carroll and her husband
Nathan Horn. Lemuel, his three year old
son was living wth Sarah's sister
" Kitsey" and her husband William Baxley. Emanuel remarried on December 9, 1850 to
Elizabeth Rogers in Barbour County, Alabama.
When the 1850 US
census was taken, Emanuel was living in close proximity to Isaac, Britton,
Miles, and Green Heath as well as the Baxley's and Horn's. I believe he was the son of Isaac
Heath. i believe Britton, miles, and
Green were his brothers.
Miles married Jennet
Jane Carroll, sharah's sister. Another
sister, previously mentioned, Margaret, married Nathan Horn. The Carroll sisters were the daughters of
Willis and Margaret Carroll. Will is
died before the children were grown.

Notes for THOMAS MONROE HEATH:
Thomas Monroe Heath
left his first wife and children in Georgia and fled to Texas, in 1847 due to
problems with the law. Thomas and his
family were in partners with another man in a gold mine. The partner stole some of the gold brick,
this angered Thomas and his brothers.
Thomas beat the man quite badly.
He may have died.
A marriage record is
found in Rush County, Tesas dated January 17, 1848 for Thomas Heath and Adeliza
Hart (spelled heart on the record)
Adeliza Angelina Hart was the daughter of James and Margaret Hart. Adeliza was born near the Angelina River and
named for the river.
The 1850 Census of
Rush County, TX lists the Thomas Heath family # 202. Thomas 29, a carpenter, born in GA. Adeliza 15, born in Texas,
and Almeda, age 5 MO, born in Texas.
Thomas M. Heath
enlisted at age 41 on Oct. 17, 1861 with the Hill County Volunteers, 4th
Regiment, Texas Cavalry. On March 17,
1864, Thomas M. Heath, Private was with the company being organized in Comanche
County, Texas, 2nd Frontier District.
Transferred to Confederate States of America by Maj. GB Erath.
