Dear MORROW Researchers:

My cousin Charles SNEAD recently mailed me several pages of genealogy information left to him by his mother Ruth Vivian MORROW Snead, daughter of my great uncle and aunt, John Abraham MORROW (1876-1965) and Eleanor Bethena BLACK (1881-1970).  Four of the pages are typed below.  They were written in an older handwritng than the other pages.  I believe they were copied by hand (possibly by Bethena Black Morrow for her daughter Ruth) from a MORROW Family Bible owned by John Abraham MORROW.  Six other pages on the Morrows, Blacks, and Sneads were in the handwriting of Ruth Vivian Morrow Snead (according to her son Charles).

Ruth Vivian Morrow (1908-1991) married Roy L. Snead (1905-1973) on Nov. 3, 1928.  I am so happy that Ruth had an interest in genealogy and gathered all this information, and I am very grateful to Charles Snead for sharing it with me and giving me permission to share it with you.  I tried to copy it as it was written.

Mary Morrow wife of Abraham was Born June the 26, 1805.

Mary Elizabeth Morrow was born March the 6th, 1824.
George Henry Morrow was born July the 17th, 1826.
John William Morrow was born February the 15th, 1828
Robert White Morrow was born January the 9th, 1830.
William Pope Morrow was born March the 28th, 1832.
Sarah Ann Morrow, September 11th, 1834.
James Washington Morrow was born April the 6th, 1836
Martha Jane Morrow was born April the 4th, 1838.
Isaac Munroe Morrow was born March 8th, 1840.

Sidney Morrow was born April the 5th, but his year have been torn out, but I suppose it would be about 1842 as he came in next to Munroe Morrow.
Lucindy Caroline Morrow was born In Jan. 1844 next to Sidney, and her date of birth have been torn out.
Ranzy? Morrow was born January the 12th, 1850.
John William Morrow Died August 30th, 1829.
Sarah Ann died June 29th, 1835
Robert White Morrow Died August 3rd, 1835.
Mary Elizabeth Morrow died July 21st, 1845.
William Pope Morrow died Dec. 10th, 1861
James Washington Morrow died March 9th, 1864.
I guess Lucinda Caroline Morrow (Smith) she died October the 3rd, 1874.

Erastus Morrow was born Oct. 3rd, 1871 and died the same day and date.
Martha Ida Morrow was born Dec. 31st, 1886
May Lee Morrow was born April 25th, 1892.

Abraham Morrow (Dec. 28, 1794-Sept. 28, 1889) and his wife Mary Morrow (Mary Elizabeth "Polly" POWELL, June 26, 1805-Dec. 25, 1884) are buried at Ebenezer West Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Georgiana, Alabama.
