Dear daughter this will inform you that we received your much appreciated letter informing us of
Pearly marriage which we enjoyed Sorry though She had to go so far this is 8 days Since She married
we (w?)ish her great joy though we have not seen or heard of them I hope we will yet Tel her to
write to us & give her address I was in bed all day yesterday with dizzy head took a briche(?) &
it releived me but I am very weak. we had a letter from Callie Cowart She had ache? in her back
but it was better Ceicel was all OK if you can read this tomorrow is my birth I will
be 86 thank God I am alive & as well as I am much Love to all your Loveing Mother R E Kern
