Mollie Jenkins Loudermilk

"Mrs. Mollie Loudermilk Dead - Mrs. Mollie Loudermilk died Wednesday (22 Sep 1915),
at her home in Lanett, Alabama, after a lingering illness from tuberculosis.
She was forty years old and was survived by her husband, J. H. Loudermilk, two sons
and one daughter. She was a daughter of Mr. J. C. Jenkins of Cornelia, who also
survives her, also a brother, Mr. Jesse Jenkins, and a sister, Mrs. Harline Smith,
of near Clarkesville. The funeral and internment were held at the Loudermilk family
grave-yard, near Camp Creek Church, Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Note: Mollie was Mary Ann Jenkins, daughter of Hester E. Harkins and John Calloway Jenkins.
She was born 19 Mar 1876 in Cornelia, Habersham Co., GA. Mollie and James Hampton Loudermilk
were the parents of Robert E. Loudermilk of Columbus, Muscogee Co., GA; Jesse Riley Loudermilk
of Lanett, Chambers Co., AL; Muscogee Co., GA, and Chatham Co., GA; and Maggie Loudermilk.
After Mollie's death, her husband, James Hampton Loudermilk (25 Oct 1873 - 3 Aug 1935)
married Mary Emma Rainey, and they are both buried in Old Oakwood Cemetery, Lanett, Chambers Co., AL.
