Bibby's Ferry in NW Chambers County, AL ca 1950's (2 photos)
Eli Bibby was granted a Charter to operate a ferry on the Tallapoosa River in the
SE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 24, Range 25 on August 16, 1852.
A ferry at this place remained in operation for over 130 years before being discontinued by Chambers County Commissioners.
