     Thomas J. & Louisa Abernathy Lett ca. 1870
Pictured above is Thomas J. Lett (October 9, 1847 - January 25, 1921) and wife Louisa B. Abernathy Lett (January 28, 1849 - November 27, 1917). T. J. Lett is the son of Wyatt C. Lett and wife Rebecca Walls Lett, early pioneer settlers of Chambers County, AL. Louisa Abernathy Lett is the daughter of John D. Abernathy and wife Margaret Baker Abernathy, also early pioneer settlers of Chambers County, AL. The Letts were married during 1869 in Chambers County.

Pictured above are the graves of Thomas J. Lett (left) and wife Louisa B. Abernathy Lett (right) in Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at Marcoot. Louisa's parents (John D. and Margaret Baker Abernathy), grandparents (Samuel and Jane Boyd Abernathy), and great-grandmother (Rhoda Davis Abernathy) are also buried here.
