Camp Formey                November 30, 1862


Dear Wife

Once more I sear myself to drop you a fe wlines to let you know that I am well at this time and hope that these few lines may find you enjoying the same. ------------------ Blessing the health of the regiment is tolerable good ----------------------------- I have had little better since I have been in the service than I ever had in my life and I hope and -------------------------- once more weigh one hundred sixty nine pounds.  I have not received any money yet and I don't know when I will.  I will try and find some job as soon as I can.  Dearest, I want you to content yourself and not be -------------- about me.  I am in the arms of my God, he is able to take care of those who put their trust in him
