Resolved,
That the Committee on the Post Office
and Post Roads be instructed to inquire into the expediency of
establishing a
daily mail stage route from Montgomery, via Selma, Marion,
Greensborough, Erie,
Jones's Bluff, and Livingston, Alabama, Marion, Decatur, Hillsborough,
and Brandon, to Jackson, in the State of Mississippi.
