Mrs. Ruby Self Smith
Mrs.
Ruby Self Smith, age 84, passed away in a Meridian hospital Fri., Feb.
9 following an emergency operation. Mrs. Smith was a longtime resident
of York. She is survived by one gaughter, Mrs. Louise Sims, York, seven
grandchildren, 10 great grand children, and 1 great, great grandchild.
Funeral services
were held Sun., Feb 11,1962 at 2 P.M. at the Causey-Brown Service
Funeral Home with the Rev.O.D. Mason officiating, assisted by Rev.
William B. Atkinson. Interment followed in the York Cemetary.
Pallbearers were
Gatewood Hatcher, Leonard "Honey" McDaniel, W.G. Sims, William Brown,
Pete Nixon, and M.A. Hancock Jr.
Causey-Brown
