John Robert Watts  (William Hix, Richard R.,) was born 30 Jun 1810 in Greene Co., Georgia, and died 01 Jun 1883 in Sumter Co., Alabama.  He married Elizabeth Thornton Asbury 03 Oct 1833 in Greene Co., Georgia, daughter of Jesse Asbury and Abigail Smith.  She was born 09 Aug 1815 in Georgia, and died 29 Apr 1905 in Cuba, Sumter Co., Alabama.

 WATTS, William H.; Present Post Office address: Cuba, Ala, b 17 Au 1834 near Greensboro in Green County, GA; first entered the service as Private on 15 Mar 1862 at Belmont, Sumter Co., Ala in Co C 40 Ala Regt and continued until 4 May 1865, surrendered at Salabury, NC

2. Jesse Asbury Watts was born 12 Apr 1837 in Georgia, and died 08 Jan 1893 in Mississippi.  He married Maria Lois Reed 29 Dec 1866 in Sumter Co., Alabama, daughter of John A. Reed and Martha H. Hearn.  She was born 14 Apr 1850 in Alabama, and died 24 May 1885 in MS. Burial: Salem Cemetery, Lauderdale Co., MS

3. John Thomas Watts, born 22 Aug 1841 in Alabama; died 12 Oct 1864.

5. Tandy Key Watts was born 17 Jul 1846 in Alabama, and died in Meridian, Lauderdale Co., Mississippi.  He married Sidney W. Taylor 15 Dec 1867 in Meridian, Lauderdale Co., Mississippi.  She was born Jul 1847.
