Welcome to San Miguel County, Colorado. I'm Vikki Gray, your County Coordinator. All that means is that I handle the computer end of things. Please feel free to make this site your own. San Miguel county was created in 1883 from Ouray. The county seat is Telluride, which is located in the easterly, mountainous part of the county. Population in 1990 was 3653.
