Can you help identifiy the unit, date and people in this photograph?
Based on the uniforms, this photograph probably dates from 1898-1917. "Company H" might have been part of the 1st Colorado Volunteer Infantry Regiment which saw service in the Philippines in the Spanish American war or part of the 157th Inf which was called to active duty to support Gen Pershing's efforts along the Mexican border.
If you can identify the date, the unit or any of the individuals please drop me a note at mdmonk2@tx.rr.com.
There is a separate section for School and Graduating class photographs.
If you have any historic photos which you would like to contribute to this section, please e-mail me. Please use the following guidelines when submitting photos.
- Submit only jpeg or gif format photos.
- Make sure the photos pertain to Washington County.
- Photos should date from prior to 1930.
- Include your name and e-mail address.
- Include a description of the photo. For pioneer families a short family history is requested.
