Adopting a county or special topic, transcribing data, or participating in other Project areas can be very fulfilling, both in learning more about the history of Delaware and/or your chosen county, and helping others with their genealogical research.

TRANSCRIBING DATA
If transcribing data for the DEGenWeb Archives is more your speed, just let us know and we'll point you in the right direction. Almost any kind of historical record has value to the genealogical researcher, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you've made an important contribution to bolster the lofty ideal of making genealogical data freely available to researchers via the Internet. *smile*
The DEGenWeb Project is currently seeking volunteers to transcribe collections of material, such as newspaper abstracts, census records, tax lists, cemeteries, church records collections, and other data collection projects. If you'd like to help out in this way, please see the USGenWeb Archives' http://usgwarchives.net/contrib.htm page. Thanks!
We appreciate your interest in the DEGenWeb Project!
