Need info on Robert Relford BELLFLOWER's parents. There is a Robert BELLFLOWER listed in 1818 Laurens Co. Jury records but it could not be Robert Relford BELLFLOWER. I believe it may be Robert Relford's father. Mrs. BELLFLOWER was listed in the Laurens Co. GA 1850 census but Robert BELLFLOWER disappeared after the 1840 census. I believe Mrs. BELLFLOWER was the wife of Robert. Anyone searching this family? Robert Relford Bellflower married Luraney E. SMITH in 1849. She is believed to be the daughter or William & Athlea__?__ SMITH of Wilkinson Co. GA.

In the 1805 Ga land lottery one Ezekiel Adams was granted over 200 acres in Wilkinson Co - although I have not gotten a copy of that land record todate. He must have died prior to 1820 since a guardianship for his minor son William Riley ADAMS was ordered in Irwin Co. Mrs. Ezekiel Adams was listed as one who traded at the country store in Wilkinson Co, along with an Amos ADAMS (who I feel is her older son). How can I find out where the land given to Ezekiel ADAMS was located, and what happened to it after his death? I know that records for the county were destroyed sometime, however, I believe when the land changed hands it would have had to been recorded, am I not right? I would love some proof of this relationship. Would you be aware of any Adams research being done in Wilkinson Co? My William Riley and his brother Willoughby later located in Ware County 1840, 1850. Any suggestions or helps will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nancy in Ariz (formerly of Douglas, Ga)

Seeking information on Uriah AMASON, named as a resident of Washington Co. GA at the time of his marriage to Elizabeth RACHEL(S) in 1807. The marriage was recorded in Hancock Co. GA. Uriah died in 1848 in Montgomery Co. AL and his estate records name these children: Jesse, Washington, Mathew, Elisha, Rufus and Nancy or Mary PORTER. Mathew AMASON was born about 1814 in GA. Elisha AMASON was born about 1820 in AL. Uriah AMASON'S parents may have been Uriah AMASON who died about 1826 in Montgomery Co. AL and wife, Bethany. I am looking for any confirming documentation of the relationships of these families and I will share what I have. This surname is frequently spelled in different ways including:AMASON, AMERSON, AMISON, AMESON, AMOSON, AMOSSON, etc. The AMASON/AMERSON's of Washington Co. GA are related to Underhill DAVIS, and wife, ADA AMASON, of Wilkinson Co. GA and may also have ties to RACHEL(S)/ROCHELLE and to the Samuel HOLLYMAN/HOLLIMAN families who resided in Wilkinson Co. GA.

I would appreciate any information on my GGG Grandparents who were early residents of Wilkinson Co., GA: (1) Hillery (may be spelled Hillory or Hillary) HARTLEY and his wife Rhoda MASON. I believe Hillery was an early resident of Washington Co. before coming to Wilkinson Co. Hillery and Rhoda were married in Wilkinson Co. on December 16, 1816. I don't have any birth/death dates, nor marriage date/place for them, only what I've found in the census records.. James HARTLEY, son of Hillery and Rhoda HARTLEY, married Rachel SKIPPER, dau. of Daniel and Mary (Polly) Skipper on Feb. 6, 1845 in Wilkinson Co. I don't know if they actually moved or if the county lines shifted, but James and Rachel are found in the Pulaski Co. census for 1860. Any information on these families (birth/death/marriage dates, other descendants, marked graves, etc.) would be greatly appreciated!
