John Milton KEMP lived in
Wilkinson County, Georgia during the 1820s and thereafter. He married Narcissa
COLLINS in that county in 1840 where they had over
fourteen children. Several of these children moved to Laurens County and
elsewhere. My ancestor is the youngest, Robert Lee KEMP. Any information
about the children or the parents of John Milton KEMP would be greatly
appreciated.

I would like to exchange information
on the Francis Marion SMITH/Mary Ann YOUNGBLOOD line.
Francis served with Company A (the Wilkinson County Invincibles) of the
49th Georgia Infantry Regiment during the War Between the States. Three
of her brothers served in the 57th Georgia Infantry Regiment. Their farm
was in the Bloodworth District near McIntyre, Georgia. They are buried
in unmarked graves in the Youngblood Family Cemetery.
Would also like to correspond
with anyone with an interest in the 49th or 57th Regiments.

G MOORE I am researching the MOORE and MEADOWS family
who were in Wilkinson County in the 1820-1860 time frame. In particular
I am looking for the ancestors of James Moore born abt 1806 and his wife,
Elizabeth Meadows born abt 1816. They are in the Wilkinson County census
record blocks with Elisha Moore, an older James Moore, William Moore and
