I am looking for any information
about David INGRAM. His will was filed in Wilkinson
County (dated 1 Feb 1828). He had sons James, Anderson, Hugh, David, William,
Richmond, and Washington, and a daughter named Margaret, who married Joseph
Davidson, Jr. Several of the sons moved to Navarro County, Texas, taking
several family slaves with them. I also have information on the SEARS family--Timothy
and Jane WHITE SEARS lived in Wilkinson County by 1814--if anyone wants
to know something about them or their descendants, many of whom stayed
in Wilkinson Co. for a long time.

I'm hoping someone can point
me in the right direction. The Ellis Harvill mentioned
in your listing of early Wilkinson Co. settlers is believed to be a grandson
of Jospeh Harvill who died c1803 in Warren County. Joseph's mother Margaret
Harvill Holliday (Ambrose Holliday her 2nd husband) wrote her will mentioning
the children of her son Joseph deceased. In the 1807 land lottery, the
"orphans of Joseph Harvill" of Warren Co. Devereaux's district won Wilkinson
Co. Lot 93 District 13 ... Then on the 1820 lottery, "Joseph Harrell's
orphans" of Wilkinson Co. Brooks district won Early Co. Lot 113, district
9. Are there Wilkinson Co. guardianship or orphan records in existence
on film or hard copy that might identify these orphans? Would appreciate
any ideas or info you might be able to offer on where to look, etc., to
identify these orphans of Joseph. In addition to the young children, Joseph
also left older children, including Ellis's father, Stephen.

about the WRIGHT family in Wilkinson Co, GA. I believe

WRIGHT (b. 1867), Louisa WRIGHT (b. 1869), Carrie WRIGHT (b. 1870), Robert
