My favorite subject, stories about interesting people we get to know in person or through our studies. I need to remember that each thing that gets published under the Honolulu County label should pertain in some way to the County of Honolulu. It is not really a hardship because Honolulu is the "gathering place". Honolulu is the State Capital. It is the socioeconomic center of Hawaii. Most of Hawaii's population reside in Honolulu County (Island of Oahu). At some point in most people's lives, they've come to Honolulu County whether it is to make a travel connection from the outer islands to the mainland or foreign countries or to pursue higher education or to find jobs or just to visit the Honolulu Zoo or Aquarium.
