This Geneology web site will  provide FREE data and contain information according to the by-laws oILGenWeb and USGenWeb Projects.  This site is non-commercial and fully committed to FREE access for everyone. None of the data on this site can be displayed on another web site nor be published without a written and signed agreement by the person that submitted the item(s), the Coordinator, and the Regional Coordinator.. Everyone involved with the USGen Web (as ILGenWeb) are volunteers.  Noone recieves money or favors for their work, time, or getting data to display on any of its site.

This web site changed!  As of June 2, 2007, I am the new county coordinator for this Clay County, ILGen Web site.   One of a coordinator's responsibility is to design a new site layout, move the data from the old site to the new one, and hope all the links work.

As I change the looks of this site, I am working to make it  accommodated for "all differently able people, computers, and internet access".  If there is a problem, such as, a special accommodated software does not work, a page loads too slow, or a page scrolls off the window, please contact me.

The only pages that can not be accomodated are the those with photos or images.

It is still a 'frame' site.  The only time the 'top portion' is not displayed while you are one this site is when you open a jpeg document (as a certificate).  Then a new window will come up and you will have to close it to continue here.  Also, when you click on a link that takes you out of this site, a new window will open.  If you use the Firefox browser you might have to adjust the settings to open multiple windows.

Hopefully, this type of frame layout will help you know where you are, be able to 'contact me' at a snap, view the 3 required logos, and  you will have the 'whole' bottom potion of your page that will display the data.

Also,  when you want to submit something to the site, click on the "Ton Contact Me' box and send it to me via email.  I will code, upload, and send email to you to view before releasing it to the site.

Last, below is a Table of Contents.  Look for the category you want and click on it.  For example, you are looking for death information (i.e., obituary, cemetery, and etc.)  Click on Death.  The next page (on the left) will list the various files and on the right will be a brief description of its contents.
