Mrs. Barbara Eberhart, 81, German Native, Dies

Mrs. Barbara Eberhart, 81, died in her home, 323, Fourth street, Monday, March 26. Mrs. Eberhart was born November 16, 1859, at Windsheim, Bayern, Germany, the daughter of Leonard and Marie Bohm. In 1890 she came to this country and settled in Lawrenceburg. Shortly after she married George Eberhart, who preceded her in death. To this union were born six children, three of whom preceded her.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Kate Taylor, Miss Marie Eberhart, and Mrs. Gertrude Baker, all of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Will Owen of Norwood, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stephan and Mrs. Johanna Uebel, both of Berlin,Germany, and many other relatives.

Mrs. Eberhart united with the Emmanuel Lutheran Church soon after her arrival here, and had been a member ever since.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fitch Bros. funeral home with Rev. E. A. DeJerus officiating, and burial in Greendale cemetery.
