Mrs. Dora Eberhart

Summons Follows Paralytic Stroke


Funeral Rites for Mrs. Dora Eberhart, Who Died Sunday, Are Held at Emmanuel Church Wednesday

Mrs. Dora Eberhart, who has been in failing health for several years, suffered a paraltic stroke and passed away Sunday morning at 10:45 o'clock at her home in Newtown.

The last sad rites were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Virgil Yohe, at Emanuel Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon at her home on Main street.

The deceased was a faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She had many friends who mourn her passing.

Mrs. Eberhart was the daughter of the late Frank and Augusta Roedemeister and was born in Cincinnati, Ohioi., July 19, 1860. She was united in marriage to Louis Eberhart, to which union were born five children, one son, Louis, having preceded her in death.

Left to mourn their loss are two sons, Frank and Edward Eberhart; two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Mohr and Mrs. Alma Tafferty; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Higgins of Pennville, Mrs. Louis Twactmann and Miss Frieda Roedemeister of Cincinnati, and one brother, Louis Roedemeister of Leesburg, La.

Interment will be in Greendale cemetery.
