Mrs. Katherine Eberhart Dies After Serious Illness

Mrs. Katherine Kunz Eberhart, 83, died in Good Samaritan Hospital Thursday morning of last week, following a serious illness, just one week after the death of her son-in-law, Frank Berkshire.

Born In Lawrenceburg, Dec. 16, 1874, she was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Ritzmann Kunz, and was married to Charles Eberhart Nov. 17, 1895.

Mr. Eberhart, who died in 1955, served as assistant postmaster in the local post office for many years. He retired in 1939.

Funeral services were conducted from the Moon Funeral Home Saturday, March 1. She was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, and services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Lloyd Weber. Burial was in Greendale Cemetery.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Berkshire, Lawrenceburg, two sons, Edward, White Plains, N.Y., Paul, Milwaukee, Wis., four sisters, Mrs. Georgia Harry, Mrs. Mayme Fox, Miss Alma Kunz, all of Lawrenceburg, and Mrs. Agnes Maischaider, Cincinnati, three grand daughters, Mrs. Linda Halbert, Cincinnati, Mrs. Paulann Goslen, Streator, Ill., and Jo Ann Eberhart,White Plains, N.Y., and two great grandchildren.
