The administrator of the succession of Bennet Jopling, deceased, appointed by James Lewis, Surveyor General for certificates of location in satisifaction of the Bennett Jopling Private Land Claim No. 1927, O.B.B. in which conflicts with other claims, there ws a deficiency of 48.70 acres between the Claim by the Board of Commissioners and the amount for which the patent was issued by the United States on July 16, 1900.
Therefore this notice is to warn all persons having any adverse claim to said administrator, and who may wish to contest the right of said administrator, to file their protests against the claim made herein with the Hon. Surveyor General before November 28, 1902.
Said Private Land Claim being more particularly described as Sections 41 and 46 in township 7 south, range 1 east and section 66 in township 7 south, range 1 west.

Sale December 11, 1902 at the last residence of George Anding, deceased about five miles northeast of Crowley on Bayou Wyckoff.
A certain tract or parcel of land, situated in Acadia parish bounded on the north by Bayou Wckoff, east land of W.W. Duson, south by lands of estate of George Anding, deceased, in community with his srvinving heirs of his deceased wife _______ Roller, and on the west by lands now or formerly belonging to Henry W. Anding containing 19.18 acres, together with all buildings and improvements. Said land lying in the western portion of Lot 1 and the SW and the eastern part of lot no. 3, all in section 13, township 9 south, range 1 east. And the following movable property:
One rice cradle; six foot cross cut say; one small cross cut saw; one sorrel horse; one gray mare; one buggy and buggy harness; two sets of plow harness; one lot of household furniture; one sewing machine; one desk and one lot of cooking utensils and kitchen furniture. Terms cash.
