SCHOOL MAY NOT OPEN
CP Democrat April 3, 1909
Since I cant pay now, bills will
be posted Sunday morning at the post office and at other places, announcing
whether we will have any more school this term. We lack $87.25 of which $27.50
has been subscribed and not yet paid in. If they pay their amount promised,
the deficit will be $57.75. The question, Do you want the school? is with
you. Most of the patrons have already answered yes by paying their part.
Public donations are acceptable if you would like to help the good work. My
announcement will depend upon your action between now and Sunday morning.
Respectfully, W.T. Harrison,
Principal.
