Notice is hereby given that the following named settler has filed notice of his intention to make final proof in support of his claim and that said proof will be made before Raymond T. Clark, Clerk of Court at Crowley, Louisiana on November 17, 1902, viz:

Valmant Blanchard Jr., H.E. (Homestead Entry) 22,658 for the South half of the NW ¼ and the East half of the of the SW ¼ , Section 5, Township 7 South, Range ____ west Louisiana Meridian.

He names the following witnesses to prove his continuous residence upon and cultivation of said land, viz:

Theogene Fontenot, Columbus Hebert, Theophile Fontenot and Teolus Fontenot, all of Acadia Parish, LA.
