STREET FIGHT IN OPELOUSAS SUNDAY
Crowley Signal October 24, 1903
Two men mortally wounded, and a third with a flesh wound in the abdomen is the net result of a matinee shooting affray at Opelousas Sunday afternoon. The affair was the culmination of a feud of long standing between Ed Hudspeth, of Rosa and Hart Sandoz and Allen Sandoz, of Opelousas.
According to accounts received of the affair in this city, Ed Hudspeth, one of the principals, was waiting for the north bound train, about four oclock Sunday.
