CHURCH POINT YOUTHS GET JAIL SENTENCE

Three young men, Fergus Comeaux 19, Laurent Matte 19, and Cleveland Comeaux 17 of the Church Point community were given a 10-day jail sentence by Judge W.W. Bailey, when convicted in district court this morning on charges of disturbing the peace. The three men began serving their sentence this morning following their conviction. They were charged with having created a disturbance at a dance at the Theogene Thibodeaux dance hall 2.5 miles east of Church Point recently.
