QUITMAN, LA - Services for Mrs Mazie, Valeria Lorraine "Jigs" (Plunkett), 65, of
Quitman, will be held at 3pm Thursday August 8 at the Calvary Tabernacle Church
in Jonesboro, La. The Rev Bill Treadway will officiate.
Burial: Liberty
Hill Cemetery at Liberty Hill, La, under the direction of Edmond's Funeral Home
in Jonesboro, La.
Mrs Mazie died Tuesday August 6, 1985, at Lincoln
General Hospital in Ruston, La., after a short illness.
She is survived
by three sons, John A. Mazie, Jr., of Corniche, Wash, Ray Dean Mazie of Minden,
La., and Ronnie Mazie of Denham Springs, La; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Rae
Caswell of Missouri City, Texas, and Connie Lee Mazie of Dallas, Texas; two
brothers, Johnny Plunkett of Epps, La, and Jarvis Plunkett of Orange, Texas;
four sisters, Mrs. Lona Blackstock of Hodge, La, Mrs. Lula Bea Mathis of Epps,
La, Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Portland, Indiana, and Mrs. Mattie C. Plunkett of
Hodge, La; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
