Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Raymond Guidry, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010
in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.
Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery.
Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
A rosary led by Mrs. Marion Hanks will be recited at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Guidry died at 4:35 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the Southwest Louisiana War Veteran's Home
in Jennings.
Mr. Guidry was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and was a retired welder. He served in the U.S. Navy
during World War II and was a member of the Lake Arthur American Legion Post # 407.
Survivors include one son, Don Cecil Guidry of Morgan City; two brothers, Golden Guidry of Lake Arthur
and Wavel Guidry and wife Jeanette also of Lake Arthur and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rhule and Arelia Guidry; and one sister, Effie G. Toups.
