William Broussard
JENNINGS, La., (Spl.)
Willaim Broussard, 50, pioneer Lake Arthur
resident died at his home at 4:15, Monday afternoon following
an illness of seven months.
He was born in Lake Arthur December 7, 1900,
and had lived there all his life. He was a boat operator.
Funeral rites were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at
the Lake Arthur Catholic church with the Rev. Aloysius Varn
Buijtenen officiating.
Interment was in the the Andrus Cove cemetery
with the Segura funeral home in charge.
Surviving are his widow; one son James
Broussard, a daughter, Mrs. Numa Broussard, three brothers,
Paul, Sostan, and Murphy Broussard, all of Lake Arthur, and four sisters, Mrs. Bill
Myers of Lowry, Mrs. Will Perry of Lake Arthur, Mrs. L.P.
Guidry of Maplewood, and Mrs. Curley Courts of Lake Arthur.
