Died 5:30 p.m. Sunday Nov 29, 1987, in Kentwood. She was 80, a native and resident of St. helena Parish. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Bruce Worrell and the Rev. Wendell Frazier. Burial in Needha cemetery. Survived by a daughter, Dorothy B. Birch; a stepdaughter, Mae Evely Donahoe; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn S Bridges; and a brother, W.E. "Red" Needham, all of Kentwood; nine granddaughters; fie grandsons; and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by three children, Clivton, Benton and Margaret Nell Bridges; five brothers and three sisters.
