Died Tuesday, April t, 1982, at st. Helena parish Hospital, Greensburg. She was a native and resident of Amite. visiting after 8 a.m. thursday at brown Mcgehee Funeral Home, Kentwood. Religious services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Day Methodist Church,, Easleyville, conducted by the Rev Lathan Johnson and the Rev. Paul Sigletary. Burial in alford Cemetery, near Kentwood. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cosma hodges Baton rouge, and Mrs Thelma Humphreys, Greensburg; a son, clovis birch, Kentwood; three sisters Mrs. Minnie Harris and Mrs. Louise "Tiny" Allen, both of Kentwood, and Mrs. Lillie Mae falcon, greensburg; two brothers, J. E. Alford and Shelby bumbo Alford, both of Kentwood; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
