Martin Tschudy 

 On the third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five personally appeared before the subscribed Judge of the orphan court for Baltimore county state of Maryland Martin Tschudy a resident of the City of Baltimore in the state of Maryland aged Ninety XXXX years the 22nd day of December 1834 Eighteen hundred and thirty four who being first duly sworn according to Law doth on his oath make the following declaration in order to obtain the benefit of the provision made by the act of Congress passed June 7th 1832 That he enlisted in the army of the United States in the month of June 1776 seventeen hundred and seventy six in the "Flying Camp" in the Regiment commanded by Col. Bull of Chester County Pennsylvania That the company he served in was commanded by Captain Jacob Heltertin that the first Lieutenants name was John Sholl he is unable to state the names of any other officers that on joining the company he was appointed a corporal and acted in that capacity during the whole term of his service. That he was discharged at Philadelphia in January 1777 (1777) Having served out the term of his enlistment at which time he was paid Thirty dollars. That Captain Miller commanded the company he was in at the time of his discharge. Captain Heltertin had been taken a prisoner and as deponent has understood died in New York. Deponent states that the troops to which he belonged first proceeded to Philadelphia ___ where they procured the necessary camp articles and then proceeded to Trenton thence to Princeton and New Brunswick. That at the time of his enlistment he resided in Chester County Pennsylvania (That he was no battles?) ...

 7th [Question] State the names of persons to whom you are Known in your present neighborhood and who can testify as to your character for veracity, and their belief of your services as a soldier of the Revolution.

Revolutionary War; Flying Camp of Continental Army, Regiment commanded by Col. Bull of Pa.; Present at battles in Trenton, Princeton and New Brunswick.
