Mark Irwin Hill
My grandfather was approx. 30 years older than my grandmother Florence. So I am hoping someone from the family line of his first wife and her son, Ross, will see this information. Perhaps the family from the first wife has a lot of paperwork or information that will tell me more about my great grandparents Mark and Elizabeth.

he died tragically, I have the newspaper article)
Death: Jan. 13, 1962, from Cordelia Ave. Baltimore, Maryland
Burial: Lorraine Cemetery, Baltimore Maryland
The parents of Mark Irwin Hill are Mark Hill, born approx. 1825 England and Elizabeth Townend, born approx 1825 also England. I have yet to find when the parents died or where they are buried.
My grandfather, Mark Irwin Hill was a Baltimore City Fireman. He was appointed a fireman on April 1, 1890 on Engine #15 as a Hostler? He left service on Sept. 30, 1907 as pensioned. Children of Mark and Florence were: Margaret Virginia Hill (my mother), Urban Vincent Hill and Florence Agnes Regina Hill.
Children of Mark Irwin and Georgeanna, married 4 Feb. 1880 in Baltimore are:
Ross Townend Hill, I believe he is buried in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery with his
wife Emma C. Hill and his son Everett Ross Hill. Ross and his son Everett Hill
both worked for the C&P Telephone Co. in Baltimore Maryland. I believe Mark and
Georgeanna also had a daughter but I cannot find or verify this yet.
