"I Benjamin Amoss of the City of Baltimore in the State of Maryland being
weak in body, but of sound disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this
my last will & Testament
In the first place....
My will and desire is that my funeral Expenses & just debts to be first
paid
Item it is my will that my Executors hereafter named dispose of all my
store goods now on hand either at public or private sale, as they may
apprehend will be most to the Interest of my Estate & when the same is
compleated I give and bequeath the whole balance that may be remaining
(after my debts aforesaid are paid), with all the rest of my Estate of every
kind soever, to my beloved wife Elizabeth Amoss to dispose of as she may
think proper.
And further, I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my father-in-law
Robert Cornthwait and my brother-in-law Thomas Morgan Executors of this my
last Will and Testament hereby revoking & disannulling all Wills by me
heretofore made; declaring this to be my last Will & Testament _ In
Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this 29th day of the 7th?
month,
