Book 6, page 460, 5 Oct 1801, probate 31 Oct 1801
"In the Name of God Amen I Mary Gwinn of
Baltimore City & State of Maryland wife of John McGill of said City and
State deceased afterwards wife of David Gwinn of said City and State deceased
being of weak body but of sound Memory and understanding and knowing the
frailty and uncertainty of human affairs do make this my last Will and
Testament Imprimis I commit my soul to my Creator and my body to the
earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor. I leave
and bequeath unto my only beloved child, Jenny McGill all my real and personal
property after all my Just debts and funeral expenses are paid I appoint
Thos. Hargrove my Executor and guardian of my beloved daughter Jenny and also
that he shall have her well fed cloathed and educated untill of age and
finally I declare this to be my last Will and Testament annulling and revoking
all former Will or Wills I might have made heretofore. In Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this fifth day of
October In the year of our lord one Thousand eight hundred and One In
the presence of the underwritten witnesses who have signed the same in the
presence of each other
