"In the Name of God Amen I John Scutt of Boltemore County in the province of Mariland being sick and weake in body but of sound and p? memory praised be to Allmighty God for the same and being Sensable of the uncertainty of this Transytory life doe committ my Soule to Allmighty God that gave it and my body to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix heareafter mentioned and as for my worlly goods that the Lord in his Mercy have bestowed upon me I give and dispose as followeth. Imprimis........
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Two daughters named Sarah Hart and Mary Scutt that Tract of land called the Levell (or Sewell?) to be equally devided in quallyty and quantyty betwixt them and Two the heyres of theyre bodys for Eber, if in case that Eighther of my Two daughters should die without Ishue then Surviver and her heyres to Inherit the same and further my Will is th? (cut off)pleaso God that my Two daughters Sarah and Mary should die without Ishue I give the above mentioned Tract of Land unto Henry Carrinton Margaret Carrinton and Catherine Carrinton the Children of John Carrinton late of ? (cut off) County desesed to be equally devided betwixt them in quantyty and quallyty to them and theyre heyres for ever......Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Scutt this my now dwelling Plantation with Two Tracts of ? (cut off) belonging to the same one known by the name of Morning Choyse and the ? known by the Name of Morings Choyse addition to her the said Mar!
y and the heyres of her body after the decease of my loving wife and if incase the ? Mary should die without Ishue then I give the said Two Tracts of land ? plantation unto my daughter Sarah Hart and her heyres for Eber. -
Item. my will is that my daughter Sarah Hart have payd unto her at the ? of sixteen or day of Mariage the Sume of foure Thousand pounds of ? with casque to containe the same by my Executrix after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Catherine Scutt and her heyres all my whole Estate Personall whome I constitute and Appoynt my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament Revoake? former Wills by me made. Sealed with my Seale this fourth day of M?
