“In the name of God Amen I George McNaeil of the Parish Jogha in Scotland Carpenter being very sick and weak but or and of Perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto god calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men ones to die Do Make and ordain, this my Last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and Recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and I George McNaeil Carpenter of the brig Equility Capt. Sprigs master Do also Dasmise? And dispose of my whole effects and wages due to me for Brig Equility to my Trusty friend John Roberts whom I likewise constitute Make and ordain the Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament all and Singular my Effects Messages and Wages by him freely to be possessed and enjoide and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and Disannul all every other former Will Legacies Bequests and executors by me on anywise before named Willed and bequeathed Ritifying and Confirming this and no other to bee my Last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six
