"In the Name of God Amen I Mordeca Price of Gunpowder Forrest in
Baltimore County in the state of Maryland farmer being weak in body but of
sound memory blessed be God for it do this first day of March one Thousand
seven hundred and ninety six make and publish this my Last will and
Testament in manner following that is to say I appoint and ordain my
beloved wife Rachel Price and my two sons Mordeca Price and Joseph Price
hole and sole Executrix and Executors and administrators of this my Last
Will and Testament revolting and disannulling all former wills and
Testaments made by me my will is that that peace of land I sould to
Samuel Matthews, shall be made over to him when he pays first as was
agreed upon, and laid out and the remainder part of my land to be devided
as I have given direction btween my three sons Mordecai Joseph and Elijah
Price they having the Privilege of all the land Except that part Samuel
Matthews lives on with all my stock farming utentions and hosehold
furniture untill Elijah comes of age by paying all my Just debts and if
either of them should die without an air the surviving brothers to have
the land Equally divided and my will is when my debts is all paid that my
three sons shall have as much of my Stock & furniture as each of my
daughters has had and my beloved wife to take her thirds. and then
an Equal divition to be maid between my seven children Ann Matthews,
Mordecai Price, Rachel Scott, Sarah Morgan, Elizabeth Benson, Joseph Price
and Elijah Price
Signed sealed and declared by the said Mordecai Price to be his Last will
and Testament in the presence of us
