Book 5, page 70, 26 Nov 1792, probate 3 Jan 1793
 
"In the Name of God be it I Urath Owings Widow of Baltimore County, and State of Maryland being, sick and poorly in health but of a disposing mind and memory do make my last Will and Testament and manner and form following  To Wit I give and bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my body I recommend to be decently Interred my worldly Goods I will and dispose of in manner and form following, Viz.  First I give and bequeath to my beloved son Samuel Owings Two shillings Sterling and a Cane which formerly belonged to my Husband Samuel Owings to him and his heirs forever.  Secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved son Thomas Owings one hundred pounds Specie to him and his heirs forever  Thirdly I give and bequeath to my beloved son Richard Owings One Silver Loop Spoon and Silver Cream pot to him and his heirs forever  Fourthly I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Rachel Stevenson One Negro boy named Joshua to her during her natural life  Fifthly I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Urath Lawrence my Pheaton or riding Carriage and all the geen belonging to it my silver Snuff box marked U.O. and one new Callico Short Gownd to her and her heirs for Ever.  Sixthly I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Hannah Stone One Negro Woman named Hannah and three Dollars to buy a Snuff box to her and her heirs forever  Seventhly I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Urath Cromwell one negroe Man named Ben to her and her heirs forever.  Eighthly I give and bequeath to my Grandson Beal Owing of Christopher One Negro boy named Bill to him and his heirs forever
Ninthly I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Urath Owings of Christopher Ten Dollars Specia to her and her heirs forever.  Tenthly I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Ruth Owings wife of Samuel Owings Twelve Scripture Pictures to her and her heirs forever.  Eleventh I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Urath Stevenson the above named Negroe boy Joshua after the Decease of her Mother Rachel Stevenson to her and her heirs forever.  Toweth I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Laurence Fifty pounds Specia to her and her heirs forever  Thirteenth I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Deborah Howard Fifty pounds Specia to be paid her when of age by my Executor with Legal Interest from the time of my Decease to her and her heirs forever  Lastly I give and bequeath to my three Daughters Rachel Stevenson, Urath Lawrence and Hannah Stone all the remaining part of my Estate not already bequeathed of after my Just Debts and burial Expenses are paid Equally to be Divided Share and Share alike to them and their heirs for Ever.  I do hereby Constitute and Appoint my beloved son in Law Benjamin Lawrence to be my Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and disanull all and every former Will or Testament by me at any time made Ratifying this to be my last Will and Testament  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this Twenty Sixth day of November One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Two.
Signed Sealed Published and Pronounced and declared by the Testator to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of the Subscribers as witnesses at the request of the Testator and in the presence of each other
