Sanders Mar 22, 1998 I am looking for information on Joseph Hill BLANSET.
He was my mother"s dad. I have a copy of a 1900 census taken in Webster Co, MS.
He is stated as 14 and that he was born in MS. It also states that he was
enumerated into the family of James C. and Letha J. BLANSET. He also was m. to a
lady in MS and had 2 children. One was Eddie May; the other I don"t know his
name, but I"m told he died in the services. He then moved to AL and married my
granmother. The surname BLANSET doesn"t show up so far in AL or MS. Thanks for

DOTTERY. The HARRIS family Bible says she was born in Bellefontaine, Webster Co,
MS, in the 1850"s. She was the second wife of John A HARRIS. They were married 5

from Noxubee Co, MS. Wife"s name is Elizabeth on 1860 census, wife"s name is
Margaret Amanda on 1870 census. He deeded land to his daughter-in-law in 1874,
Ann M. HODGES HAWKINS. He is not on the 1880 census, but his wife and children
are. When did he die and where is he buried Son Joseph M. HAWKINS died in 1895

My data shows this to be impossible, as Lazarus HITT was b. 1792 in Laurens Co,
SC, and d. 20 Oct 1859 in Calhoun Co, MS. I understand there is a monument
to Reuben Martin HITT at Embry Cemetery in Bellefontaine. Could someone tell me
if his data is correct and if his children are listed on the monument

WALLIS, age 40 (b. GA and adopted by WALLIS family) and following children:
Josephine, age 18; Nancy E, age 15; John H, age 11; Evander, age 9; Jasper, age
7; Savanna, age 4; Georgia, age 5 months. According to births of children,
they were in AL ca 1860 until ca 1873; moved to MS and over to AR where baby
Savanna was b. and then back to MS where Georgia was b. in 1880.
Especially need information for Theodocia, their last child who was born ca 1882
after the census. Theodocia married Lee Verner MIZE. Where and
when Theodocia and Lee had two daughters named Madge M. MIZE (1903-1983)

probable parents of the following children; David (1830 AL), Jefferson (1832
AL), Mary (1834), Martha (1835), Jermima E. (1838), Matilda (1840), Lucinda
(1844), Pleasant (1847), Wade Hampton (1849) and Betty (1852). Especially

1997 I do not know where my gggrandmother, Marinda White
Paden MOORE, is buried. She died in 1861. One time I was in MS, but did not pick
a good day to go to the cemetery. I got stuck at Bellefontaine Cemetery and some
nice men pulled us out. She should be in a cemetery somewhere around there. They
were listed at Fame in the 1860 Choctaw Co Census. Any help would be
