Presbytery Met At Erie Tuesday
The spring meeting of Fargo Presbytery opened in the church at Erie Tuesday at 9:30 a. m.
Rev. C. A. L. Johnson of Casselton was elected moderator and Rev. R. L. Colvin of Hope temporary clerk.
Reports from the various churches and Sunday school reflected something of the economic condition of the times, yet, in the main, these were encouraging. The report of the Hunter Sunday School stood out in the foreground, it was very gratifying.
The report on Resolutions, as presented to Presbytery by Rev. Geo. R. Hull, showed that all churches in Fargo Presbytery was now being afforded pastoral guidance and oversight; and it also revealed the fact that the Board of Nation Missions has sent into the state the sum of $4,500 above the regular grant to help relieve the needy churches.
Rev. Geo. R. Hull was chosen moderator of the churches at Buffalo, Tower City, Ayr, Hunter, Blanchard, Galesburg and Clifford.
The local church was represented by Elders Bristol and Osborne, also Mrs. Bristol and Mrs. Stewart.
