Hello: I am researching the surname TIBERT. My great grandfather was originally
from New Germany, Nova Scotia, Canada and one of his cousins, George L. Tibert
moved to Fargo, Cass. Co., North Dakota in the late 1800s. He married Mary
Elizabeth LAWRENCE in Dec 1890 and had eight children born in Fargo. On my
sight I have the children listed with the information I have found. I would
like to complete the information if possible and maybe connect with a
descendant. My grandmother of Liscomb Mills, NS was receiving mail and photos
from a Charlie TIBBERT in Mass. and I was wondering if anyone knew of him. My
grandparents are deceased, but I wonder if this Charlie would be the brother or
cousin of John D. TYPERT. I appreciate any information you could provide. Thank

I am looking for information about my father Kenneth Leroy Ihde. He was born in
Chaffee, ND in 1922 and placed in an orphange. He was adopted by William and
Pearl Ihde of Wilton, MN when he was quite young. I don't know the name of the
orphange only what I have been told as hearsay from family members. This is
very important to me and my children. We would like to know who his birth
parents are and be able to trace their ancestry. My father died in 1948 before
I was born and I did not have the chance to know him. Please help in any way

I search for the daughter of Elen Iverina Arentsdatter (Stien). Elen emigrated

She married Stephen Schmidt 2/10/1925. He was born 12/10/1804 and died

Looking for info on William Wesley BALLENTINE who died in Fargo April 15, 1941
and was born May 30, 1883 (I believe in Fargo). He was married to Nellie Mable
CRAIG-WALKER. Had children Ethel, Charles, Alice, Gweneth and Hollis. Hollis is
my grandfather and was born in 1922 in Minot, ND. So we know by 1922 William no
longer lived in Fargo. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
