EARL GEORGE NAUMANN
 Earl was born in Temvik to George and Ernestine Wudtke Naumann on 14 April 1922. Earl's siblings were Donald, Helen Lorraine Martin (30 August 1930-5 October 1917), and step-brother Myrle Anderson.
Earl grew up in Temvik, went to college in Fargo, and worked in Mandan where he was also married to Miss Dorothy Blandin on 19 July 1944.
Earl registered for the Armed Forces while he was a student at the North Dakota Agriculural College in Fargo. He entered the U. S. Army at Fargo on 6 April 1943. He was a Private First Class in the 289th Infantry, 75th Division during the European-African Middle Eastern Theater where he was killed in action on 25 December 1944.
