Note: There are two Saints Peter and Paul Cemeteries in McHenry County:

1] The older cemetery, a Wrought-Iron Cross Site, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 and they have named it Old Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. When listed it had 13 contributing Iron Cross objects by Anton Massine who was a German-Russian blacksmith in central North Dakota.

This is a very small cemetery and does not have any recorded burials after 1915.

In 1967 an inventory was taken by Glasgow, Libby and Troy Branch Genealogical Committees of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They listed it as Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. Their list is here with 17 burials; surnames: Feist, Haberlach, Hepfner, Hopfner, Klein, Mack, Meyer, Rothecker, Schan, Streifel, Walter, Welk, and Zigler.

FindAGrave has 21 burials.

In 1992 an inventory was taken in McHenry County cemeteries by The Mouse River Loop Genealogy Society. They listed it as Karlsruhe Catholic. Listing the burials within the cemeteries by surname is too difficult but a free lookup is available (by full name) by sending an eMail to Mike Peterson at lineage40@cox.net.
