Hoppe-Laurane
The wedding of Miss Sophia Hoppe to Mr. Burt C. Laurane was celebrated at the home of Mr. William Hoppe on Saturday evening. Many of the intimate friends of both bride and groom were invited to the wedding and they report a very enjoyable time. The evening was spent dancing, The Washburn Orchestra furnishing the music. Many useful and ornamental presents were given to the newly wedded couple. The bride is a young lady who has lived near Underwood with her parents for a number of years and one who is held in high esteem by her many friends. The groom is a young man of sterling qualities who, for a few years, made his home at Washburn. He has a fine farm a few miles from Coleharbor where the newly wedded couple make their home. The miner joins their many friends in extending congratulations.

Caldwell-Harris
The marriage of Miss Elva Caldwell to Mr. Walter W. Harris occurred yesterday afternoon at Washburn. The Bride is one of the popular young ladies of Coleharbor, a daughter of J.W. Caldwell of this place. The groom is a popular and well known man of this vicinity, and owns a fine claim near Coleharbor where the newly wedded couple will make their home, followed by the well wishes of their numerous friends
