Forman 1908 Graduation Exercises

The public graduation exercises of the Eighth grade pupils of the Forman schools,
which took place at the opera house last Saturday evening, were well attended
by the town people, and the program was given without a hitch.
The Eight grade class was composed of eleven pupils--seven sturdy manly boys
and four maidens of attractive appearance. The entire class passed very creditable
examinations, and in their work during the school year just past, and in the showing
made last Saturday night reflected great credit upon their instructors, Prof Rairdon
and Miss Jenkins. Following was the program rendered.

The stage was very beautifully decorated with potted plants and flowers And the class colors
of purple and white were much in evidence. Across The stage was also hung the class motto,
"Work and Win." The music Rendered by the chorus was of a high order and was much enjoyed
by the Audience . There were two bassos, two tenors, four altos and four sopranos.
