MATTHEW OKA
 Matthew was born 1 February 1896 the son of Louis (1860) and Josephine (Agnes) (1866) Oka. Siblings included, at least, Augustine (1885), Josephine (1888), Rosale (1890), Mary (1894), Isella (1895), Anna (1899), and Susan (1902).
He married Laura (Unknown surname) (1900) and they had the following, at least, children: Bernard (1925), Madeline (1927), Mercell (1930), Gladys (1933), Lanna (1935), and Harlan (1939).
Matthew was a Code Talker in World War I having served in the 1st Development Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, Company D.
Matthew died on 12 November 1945 and is Buried in Corson County, South Dakota.
