Henry Albert "John" Menz was born in July 1887 in Fort Yates. He married Philomena Wuitschick on January 13, 1917, at Fort Yates. They had ten children in 13 years. Henry died on September 19, 1940, in Jamestown, North Dakota. Philomena was born 9 January 1899 at Krasna, Akkermann, Bessarabia, Russia and died on 21 May 1975 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon. After the death of Henry in 1940 Philomena had two other marriages.
