PVT PETER WHITE LIGHTNING
Peter was born 18 October 1928 and was living in Sioux County when he entered the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was killed in North Korea on 11 November 1950. He is buried in the Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Cemetery in Cannon Ball. American Indian, Sioux, heritage. His parents are Elizabeth and Harry White Lightning. Memorial, Tombstone Picture.
